Spring Photos Happenings DDC 2016
DCCB (short for Denton City Contemporary Ballet) is Denton Dance Conservatory's resident non-profit performing company founded in 1989.  The company sponsors our annual "A Gift for Emma," the COLLAGE: Denton Dance Festival, the COMMUNITY MASTER CLASS SERIES, the DCCB Scholarship for Summer Study, and more!  Leading roles for "A Gift for Emma" and "Peter & the Wolf" are taken by our company members, and we are planning a trip to New York next year as well.  In the past, our company toured Austria with the Young Tanzommer Dance Festival in 2011 & 2014.
The Annual Company membership auditions will be held this Saturday, May 14th at the times specified below:

Ages 11-14 (Apprentice & Junior positions), 11:30am-1...pm
Ages 13-Adult (Senior & Full Company positions), 1:15-3pm

The audition will consist of a classical ballet barre warm-up, centre combinations, pointe combination (if applicable), contemporary and jazz combinations.  Those interested need to be enrolled in a minimum of 3 ballet technique classes per week and very committed to the goals and mission of the company.
Female dancers should wear black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair slicked back in a bun, pointe shoes (if applicable).
Male dancers should wear white Tshirt, black jazz pants or black men's tights, dance belt, white socks, and white or black ballet shoes.
